Why pickup weight matters on Amazon Relay

On a busy board, payout and miles can look similar while the freight under them is not. A near-empty trailer is a different decision from a heavy loaded haul: time, equipment, and what you can take next all change.

Without a clear weight cue in the list, you often learn that only after expanding the card. BestAmazonBooker surfaces pickup weight on the card when Relay provides it — without asking for Relay passwords and without affiliation with Amazon or Amazon Relay.

Where the weight chip appears

The weight chip sits under the trailer / equipment column on the load card. That keeps it separate from loading-type cues (Drop / Live) and from the Bobtail badge, which lives under Drop/Live when Relay types the opportunity as bobtail.

Both can show at once — for example a Bobtail badge plus an Empty weight chip — when Relay sends both signals.

What “Empty” means

When Relay reports pickup weight in grams (or a gram-like unit) and that converts to less than about 0.1 lb, BestAmazonBooker labels the chip Empty instead of showing a near-zero pound figure.

Empty is a weight signal for tiny reported pickup mass. It is not a separate Relay “empty trailer” product flag, and it is not the same as bobtail. Use it as a fast hint that the opportunity may be light or repositioning-adjacent freight — then confirm details in Relay before you Accept.

How other weights display

• Pounds — shown as lb (rounded for scanability on the card)
• Kilograms — shown as kg when Relay reports kg
• Grams above the Empty threshold — converted to lb for a readable chip
• No weight from Relay — no chip; the extension does not invent weight

• Filter and highlight the loads you care about
• Glance at weight under trailer — and bobtail under Drop/Live when present
• Open only the cards that still fit your plan
• Confirm in Relay; follow Amazon Relay's terms and your carrier policies

Amazon Relay empty trailer only filter

A dedicated “empty trailer only” filter is not something BestAmazonBooker invents on top of Relay. Relay may or may not expose that as its own board filter. Bobtail is a different signal — a Relay load type, badged under Drop/Live. Use both when they appear; do not treat Empty as a bobtail filter.
