Amazon Relay Telegram alerts: load highlights on your phone

Why phone alerts for Amazon Relay

Dispatchers are not always staring at the board. Compact alerts tell you on your phone that a load was highlighted, booked, or missed — while filters, refresh, and highlight or autobook keep running in Chrome on the desk. Alerts are optional and available on Free and Pro. The extension works without Telegram, and nothing here replaces reading the load in Relay before you commit.

What each alert contains

Every alert is one line: the alert type, then the lane, then payout and rate per mile when Relay provided them. For example:

Highlight · ORIGIN → DESTINATION · USD 1250 · $2.45/mi

• Highlight — a load that passes your filters was painted on the board. Sent once per load (and per load version) in each Relay tab, so a load that stays on the list does not repeat on every refresh.
• Booked — a booking succeeded.
• Missed — a booking attempt missed or timed out, for example because another carrier took the load first.

The example numbers above are illustrative. Alerts do not include driver names, your Relay login, or anything you did not see on the board.

How linking works

1. Install BestAmazonBooker and sign in on the extension.
2. Open Options → Telegram alerts. A QR code appears for your account; it expires in about 10 minutes, and Refresh QR makes a new one.
3. Scan the QR with your phone. It opens @bestamazonbooker_bot with a one-time code for your account; tap Start. The bot replies “Linked to BestAmazonBooker. Alerts will be sent here.” Opening the bot without the QR does not link anything.
4. Options switches to Linked with three toggles — Highlights, Books, Misses. All three start on when you first link, and again if you unlink and link later, so turn off any you do not want.
5. Press Send test to confirm. You should get “Test alert from BestAmazonBooker — Telegram is linked.”

One Telegram chat is linked per BestAmazonBooker account. Linking the same chat to a different account moves it there. Unlink in the same Options section stops alerts.

Not receiving alerts?

• Options says “Signed out” — sign in first; the QR and alerts are tied to your BestAmazonBooker account.
• The bot says “Open BestAmazonBooker extension Options and scan the QR again” — the QR expired or was already used, or the bot was started without the QR. Press Refresh QR in Options and scan the new one.
• “Status unavailable” in Options — press Retry before generating a new QR.
• Linked, but nothing arrives — press Send test. If the test arrives, check that the toggle for that alert type is on.
• Test works, but no load alerts — load alerts come from the Amazon Relay Chrome extension while it runs on relay.amazon.com, so Chrome must be open, the extension signed in, and the widget started. No highlight alert means nothing passed your filters yet.
• Still missing some — alerts are best-effort. If Telegram or the network fails, the extension does not retry or hold up booking on the board.

Privacy

• We never ask for Amazon Relay passwords.
• Linking stores your Telegram chat ID, your Telegram username if you have one, when you linked, and your three toggles — on your BestAmazonBooker account, not on Amazon.
• Alert text contains only the type, lane, payout, and rate per mile shown above.
• Unlinking removes the chat from your account.
• BestAmazonBooker is not affiliated with Amazon, Amazon Relay, or Telegram.
