Amazon Relay refresh intervals: Slow, Moderate, Fast, and Manual

How BestAmazonBooker paces load-board refreshes on relay.amazon.com — presets, Manual timing, and how refresh pairs with filters and booking. Not affiliated with Amazon or Amazon Relay.

Why refresh timing matters

The Relay load board moves. New work opportunities appear, others disappear, and payouts reshuffle. A helper that refreshes on a cadence you choose helps you see matches sooner — but speed alone is not a strategy.

BestAmazonBooker treats refresh as one control among others: filters, highlight or autobook, and board cues like bobtail and weight. Faster refresh does not invent loads or bypass Amazon Relay.

Refresh presets

In the widget you can pick:

  • Slow 6–9s — gentler pace for calmer hunting
  • Moderate 3–5s — balanced default for many lanes
  • Fast 2–4s — more frequent board updates when competition is high
  • Manual — your own interval, with light jitter between cycles

Preset labels describe a range; actual waits vary within that band so timing is not a perfect metronome.

Manual refresh and jitter

Manual refresh lets you set the center interval you want. BestAmazonBooker then applies about ±15% jitter around that center (clamped to a safe allowed band) so successive refreshes are not identical to the millisecond.

Use Manual when presets are too coarse — for example a specific cadence your team has already decided works for your lanes.

Refresh vs Relay’s own Next Refresh

Relay has its own board refresh UI (including “Next Refresh” style controls). BestAmazonBooker drives its own refresh cycles when you Start the widget. If Relay is cooling down or throttling, slowing your helper or pausing is often smarter than stacking more clicks. Stop on the widget does not reset Amazon’s throttle timing.

Pair refresh with filters and mode

  • Set filters first so refreshes surface the loads you care about
  • Use highlight when you want to Accept yourself; autobook when rules are tight (autobook guide)
  • Read board cues while the list moves — bobtail, weight, payout — before you trust a take

FAQ

How does refresh work?

After Start, BestAmazonBooker refreshes the board on Slow, Moderate, Fast, or Manual timing you choose.

What are the presets?

Slow 6–9s, Moderate 3–5s, and Fast 2–4s — plus Manual for a custom interval.

What is Manual jitter?

About ±15% around your chosen interval so cycles are not perfectly identical.

Does faster refresh guarantee books?

No. Filters, availability, competition, and Relay still decide outcomes.

Try it on your board

Install BestAmazonBooker, open Relay in Chrome, set filters, pick a refresh preset or Manual, and Start. Adjust pace to your lanes — not every market needs Fast.
